Maria Spanopoulou was born in Athens, Greece and graduated Dental Technology in 2004 from the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens. In 2000 she started her professional activity in her father's lab Dimitris Spanopoulos, Advanced Dental Laboratory. She attended mane courses and lectures from national and international Dental Technicians and Dentists and she spacialized in aesthetic restorations.In 2005 lived and worked as a dental technician in Liechtenstein. In 2006 she returned to Athens, Greece where she became co-owner in Advanced Dental Laboratory. In 2006 Advanced Dental Laboratory is certified as a pilot lab by Sirona Dental Company for CAD/CAM Inlab. In 2008 Ivoclar Vivadent Company certified her as a Trainer and until today she presents/organizes lectures and courses. In 2011 she was certified as a Trainer by Straumann Company and until today she is a certified member of Straumann Lab Academy. In 2015 she started collaborating with the Postgraduate Department of Prosthodontics, School of Dentistry - National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2017 she joined the Key Opinion Leader team of MPF company as a collaborating and concultant dental technician. She's a DSD (Digital Smile Design) certified member and Founder member of the Hellenic Society of Medical and Dental Digital Technology. In 2018 she became Editor-in-chief for the magazine "Laborama" published by  OMNIPRESS company.
